Wexler Packaging Products is proud to announce the first annual recipient of the Lillian and Max Wexler Scholarship.
For the 2014 – 2015 academic year, the Lillian and Max Wexler Scholarship was awarded to Ms. Crystal Geist. Ms. Geist demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and a strong commitment to pursuing a career in business. Ms. Geist will graduate from Montgomery County Community College in fall 2015 with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
We’re thrilled to see this outstanding young woman from our Montgomery County Community pursuing her education,” states Pattie Wexler. “Our hope is that this scholarship will aid Ms. Geist as she continues to build her business skills in order to further her professional career.”
The Lillian and Max Wexler Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 by Pattie F. Wexler in honor of her parents, Max and Lillian, who started Wexler Packaging Products in 1974.
“My mom always felt it was important for me to give back and help create opportunities for other women to achieve their goals,” notes Pattie Wexler. “Just as my dad opened up doors for me in business, my hope is that assisting this young woman in her education will do the same.”
