‘Twas the weeks before New Year’s, when all through the office,
the Wexler Team is cheery, from a year nearly flawless.
Our goals were accomplished by hard work and more,
In hopes that our new goals allow us to soar.
Wexler Packaging Products has been taking some time to reflect on 2019, a year that seemed to fly, and all we can say is time flies when you’re having fun! The year started off with the launch of our blog, “All Roads Lead to Wexler.” Since it’s launch, we have posted monthly blogs discussing our take on various topics. The feedback has been very positive, and we’ve even published some topics that our readers have submitted, which we welcome and encourage!
Our tradeshow season was kicked off by IPPE in mid-February, which was held in Atlanta, GA, followed by Seafood Processing in Boston, MA. Both shows allowed us to continue revolutionizing the food industry with our alternative solutions like banding and linerless labeling. We hit the road again in June for East Pack in New York City and WBENC’s annual conference in Baltimore, MD. We were able to make new connections while getting to see some familiar faces. Finally, we closed out our 2019 tradeshow line-up this Fall with Pack Expo International in Vegas, where we had two booths, Print ’19 in Chicago, and Kosherfest in Secaucus, NJ. All three shows helped us end the tradeshow season on a high note!
If you follow us on social media, then you’ve gotten a front row seat to all things packaging! (And if you don’t, what are you waiting for??) Our 2019 social media activity was filled with a wide array of content, everything from blog releases, to packaging tips and facts, articles from around the industry, tasty recipes, celebration of various days, pictures from tradeshows and our traveling sales team, motivational quotes to get you through the day, tons of videos showing what our solutions can do for you, and so much more. If you aren’t following us yet, make sure you do so you can get a piece of the packaging pie!
And of course, what would a business be without not only sales, but amazing customers. This year, we strengthened our partnerships with existing customers by continuing to provide them with materials, service, and machine upgrades. We held our annual Service Training in May, where we invited existing customers to send their employees to learn the ins and outs of their equipment, which can save them both time and money. We also developed many new partnerships with companies who were seeking alternative packaging methods by providing them with the best solution possible.
Back in the office, we added two new employees to the Wexler Tree: Service Technician, Stephen Leatherman, and Accounting Manager, Maureen Sena. They have both seamlessly transitioned into their roles here at Wexler Packaging Products and we are happy to have them be part of the team. Going into the New Year, you can expect big things from us. We will be releasing several videos throughout the year, covering topics such as machine functionalities, capabilities, facts, reviews, recaps and more. Our blog will feature regular posts that give our take on industry topics. We also have additional tradeshows lined up for 2020, as well as plans to increase our outreach to make sure those in the packaging industry know about the benefits of our solutions and everything that we can offer a company.
We extend a huge thank you to all of our customers, partners, social media followers, newsletter subscribers and associates who keep us busy. We hope 2020 brings you success, happiness and savings. And as always, feel free to contact Wexler Packaging Products for all your sustainable packaging needs!
