Banding uses no heat or adhesives to keep dust, dirt, and other contaminants away from your food products and all systems are available in stainless steel for humid or damp environments. Our food packaging equipment solutions provide you with options for most applications in a way that is environmentally friendly and sustainable. We are also proud to introduce TruePaper, a 100% recyclable material that is made of at least 95% pure virgin fiber paper. This new material option can be utilized plain or pre-printed, is grade AA certified and FDA compliant.

All of our ATS-Tanner labeling solutions are food safe and designed to apply an adhesive-free pre-printed label to your product quickly and efficiently using an ultrasonic seal. With tension control and adjustable sealing strength, you choose the functionality of your label. Do you want a thicker paper to replace cardboard sleeves that is easy for the consumer to remove? Do you want a tighter label that won’t damage the product? Do you want branding with the ability to print variable data on demand, like barcodes, weights, dates, and more? Ultrasonic banding systems can do it all, and with uniformity.

    Materials

    Pre-Printed Material
All ultrasonic banding material can be imprinted with your branding or design in up to 12 colors. If you are looking to label, or bundle for multipacks or promotions, you can use any of the paper/poly banding materials imprinted with your custom design. Bundle and label in one easy step!...
    Paper/Poly Banding
We stock and supply all banding consumables for our customers and will work with you on your usage to make sure our inventory always remains strong. All of our banding machines can run brown paper, white paper and poly film ranging from 15mm width to 100mm width....

We all know that traceability in the food industry is essential. From produce to ready meals, meats, perishables and more, adding the option to print on demand is the ultimate solution for eliminating recalls. You have the ability to print lot numbers for track-and-trace, QR codes, origins, etc. which not only helps you as the manufacturer in the event of a recall, but also reassures the end user that your company is committed to their safety.

Choose band widths from 20mm all the way up to 100mm for the ultimate amount of branding real estate. Pre-printing can even be utilized on both sides of the banding material for recipes, nutritional info, and more. Our US-2100 line of equipment runs 75mm or 100mm material and can be used as a stand-alone unit for hand fed products, or integrated into automation systems to allow for stacking, security, and minimal operating labor.

Banding in the food industry also encompasses multipacking for wholesale, club stores, or promotions. Bundle products using the same ultrasonic technology but perhaps without requiring a wider material or the use of branding. Material can be plain for wholesale distribution purposes, or unitize with pre-printed material for multi-packs, promotions or deals for increased sales. And as with all of our equipment, choose from stand-alone units all the way up fully automated systems that can gather, upstack, downstack for heavier products, and more.
