As trusted advisors, we help provide the ideal solution to increase efficiencies while reducing labor and packaging material costs for bundling and labeling.

“When it comes to banding, Wexler has it all wrapped up!”

Let’s Explore the Possibilities…

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Manufacturing

Traditional methods like shrink wrap, inner cartons, etc. are causing more pain as we pivot towards a more sustainable future.  With banding, reduce excess packaging waste, improve on costs, increase throughput, and more!

From wipes to small boxes, to circular items like cables or tubing, office supplies, and other miscellaneous products, banding is the leader in sustainably unitizing products. Whether it be for shipping, retail, distribution, or display-ready packaging, banding allows you to replace traditional bundling methods that often require adhesives, sharp objects to open, costly and excess materials, or are labor intensive. Banding can take the place of inner cartons, cardboard sleeves, shrink wrap, poly bags, and more, allowing you to use a paper or poly banding material that creates far less waste than these other methods.

Many manufacturing facilities are met with considerable waste during the packaging process – waste in the form of excess packaging materials, overruns, damaged products, harmful materials, etc. By streamlining materials and using more sustainable resources, you can cut out unnecessary layers of packaging and use a more cost-effective substance. Solutions such as banding allows you to use better materials for the environment and for your budget.

Automating your production line with automated packaging equipment gives you all of those opportunities, plus speed! Automation in any capacity reduces the cost of labor by allowing you to repurpose employees in other areas. It also reduces the amount of operator injuries, decreasing workman’s compensation claims, creates consistency, and increases your throughput.

With solutions that never need a day off, you can always keep your production going and increase your productivity with a wide range of equipment. We offer solutions all the way from stand-alone, hand-fed machines to fully automated systems, capable of taking manual processes off your hands. Repurpose labor and cut costs with a system that can be custom built around your product, to achieve steps like counting, stacking, collating, measuring, and more.

Paper/Poly Banding
We stock and supply all banding consumables for our customers and will work with you on your usage to make sure our inventory always remains strong. All of our banding machines can run brown paper, white paper and poly film ranging from 15mm width to 100mm width....

Securing display-ready packaging (also known as shelf-ready packaging) with ultra-sonic banding allows for the elimination of several other types of packaging and is able to fit a wide variety of product types and shapes. With traditional methods such as cumbersome cardboard boxes, employees stocking shelves in retail stores may need to open these boxes with box cutters or other sharp objects. This inherently opens the opportunity for not only injuries to the employee, but also for damage to the products inside. By eliminating the box and replacing it with a four-sided case secured with a single band, there are no sharp objects needed to open. Shelf stockers can simply tear, place on the shelf and go. This leads to less damage and quicker restocking, which can cut labor costs while also cutting down on material costs.

Enhancing your production line also means boosting your production rate. Looking to multi-pack? Doing so with banding is another way to increase your output, increase sales, promote your brand, and reduce materials. In the sense of banding, multi-packing allows you to bundle multiple products with pre-printed material, unitizing and branding in one step! This gives you an attractive shelf appeal, cuts down on the material used in comparison with branding each product one by one, and allows you to show consumers your dedication to sustainability.
