What happens in Vegas leads to great opportunities! Pack Expo 2019 was a success and we can’t wait until next year. With constant traffic and a great looking booth, we made so many connections at this show. Pack Expo 2019 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV from September 23-25. We really “packed” a lot of innovation into two booths, both located in the Upper South Hall.
Booth #7248 was nearly 1,500 square feet manned by representatives from Wexler Packaging Products, Felins, USA, and ATS-Tanner Banding Systems. We welcomed customers and prospects into our booth with a cozy lounge area to rest their feet while discussing alternative packaging solutions. Our beautiful printed material and product sample display, which was front and center, caught the attention of many who were interested in branding their product with a band. As far as machinery goes, we had several ultra-sonic stand-alone equipment on display, including the ATS US-2000 MDM-P, ATS US-2000 AST, the stainless steel ATS US-2000 ADU-R, and so much more. In terms of automation, we showed live demonstrations of the ATS US-2000 CL-TS-L, the ATS US-2100 SIB-TTP-R, and the ATS US-2000 TRS-SW-550 – all perfect solutions for automatically bundling products.
A few aisles over, attendees found more of our staff at booth #7881, where we were showcasing our Ravenwood Packaging Linerless Labeling equipment. We had the Nobac 500 running skin pack trays to show guests the speed and efficiency of linerless labeling. Our display case was filled with real examples of perfect linerless opportunities such as ready meals, bakery items, sushi, and salad. Spectators could also see additional products and information in a short Vegas-themed video displayed in our booth. Jackpot!
There were many highlights from this show, but one of our favorites was our very own Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tara Utain, speaking on the Innovation Stage. On Monday, September 23rd, Tara gave her take on “Women in Packaging Offering Sustainable Solutions” in a 30-minute presentation. She filled her timeslot with a heartfelt speech containing personal stories, life experiences, a little history about Wexler Packaging Products, and a brief overview of our solutions. Touching the hearts of some, and educating and inspiring others, the impact was evident by the captivated audience and packed room (and additional seating that had to be brought in!).
Having such a successful show is definitely worth all of the hard work we put into it. We enjoy educating others on the many solutions we have to offer and making great connections that we hope last a lifetime. We extend a huge thank you to our staff in attendance, our staff holding down the fort back in the office, as well as all of the customers and prospects that stopped by either of our booths. Don’t miss us next year at Pack Expo 2020 in Chicago, IL! Up next for Wexler Packaging Products – we are hitting the road again and headed to Chicago, IL from October 3-5. Hope to see you there!
