Tradeshow Recap: Highlights, Innovations, and Takeaways from Q1 Shows

The Wexler Team is feeling the momentum after coming off a wave of tradeshows. Finishing the first quarter of 2024 strong, our team is back from three shows in a two-week span. We were thrilled to connect with colleagues, prospects, and other professionals across several industries. All three shows collectively drew in nearly 80,000 industry experts and Wexler came prepared – we brought forth the knowledge and solutions to best fit their needs and were ready to take on the crowds.

First of three shows was the Seafood Processing Show in Boston from March 10-12, where we co-exhibited with Ossid. We showcased automatic ultrasonic “branding with banding” on the ATS US-2100 IBL-CB-R, as well as stand-alone banding with the ATS US-2000 ADU-R. We also proudly displayed a full line of thermoforming and tray sealing by Ossid, finished with a linerless label using the Ravenwood Packaging Nobac 5000.

Our team then exhibited at MODEX in Atlanta from March 11-14. MODEX is one of the largest trade shows in the US for supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution professionals. We were able to showcase our capabilities in the packaging world, which created quite a bit of interest among attendees. Guests got to see the ATS US-2000 TRW-FD-J in action, which is an automated transit line solution that was printing variable information on demand.

The following week, we came back to our home city where we had a large booth at Pack Expo East in Philadelphia. The show took place from March 18-20 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. It was so nice to not only form new relationships but connect with existing colleagues and partners. We didn’t mind getting to frequent the famous Reading Terminal Market either! Visitors to our booth were able to see a wide range of our semi-automatic and automatic packaging equipment, including heat seal and ultrasonic banding, linerless labeling, and shrink wrapping. We had a large variety of samples on display for others to see and touch. We even had some folks bring samples of their product to our booth for us to show them right there how ideal and efficient banding can be.

Overall, the first quarter of 2024 was quite a success for us at Wexler. These shows provide such a valuable opportunity for professionals in the packaging industry to stay informed, connected, and inspired, while driving innovation and growth within the packaging world. We were excited to be a part of them and look forward to our next round of tradeshows in the Fall. Until then, be sure to keep up with us on social media and check out our news and media gallery on our website.
